Elena Polansky is the leader of the Pfizer External Supply Internal Medicines team. She is responsible for managing a network of third-party contract manufacturers who enable breakthroughs that change patients’ lives.
In her previous role, Elena served as the Business Operations Leader for Pfizer Global Supply, where she was responsible for supporting the PGS Leadership Team in operating effectively and efficiently while advancing the PGS Vision, Mission and Strategies.
Before joining PGS, Elena working in the Global Procurement organization for 17 years where she held various positions of increasing responsibility. Elena was focused on developing and executing sourcing strategies across key areas of direct and indirect spend at Pfizer, including direct materials and packaging, legal services, strategy consulting services and information technology services. Prior to joining Pfizer, Elena was a consultant serving a variety of clients in financial services, distribution and manufacturing industries while working at Proxicom and Anderson Consulting.
Elena holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics and International Business from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in Electronic Commerce from Carnegie Mellon University. She resides in New Jersey with her husband, David, a fellow Penn State alumnus, two children and three dogs.
